Welcome to the +1 Global Fund for WASH! You have been invited to submit up to 3 nominations for locally-led, earlier-stage organizations that are improving access to quality, affordable, and sustainable WASH infrastructure and services in Africa. For more context on how the +1 process works, please see the +1 Overview page. And, for examples of organizations already supported through +1 WASH, please see the +1 WASH Directory.

If one of your nominated organizations is selected, they will receive a USD 12,000 grant and a suite of non-financial support, and you will receive a USD 1,000 honorarium (per selected organization, up to USD 3,000). When nominating organizations, please keep the following requirements and preferences in mind, in order to improve your chances of making a successful nomination.

<aside> ⚠️ Please note that self-nominations are NOT allowed. If you believe you are a good fit for +1 support (per the requirements and preferences noted below), please email Gurpreet Singh ([email protected]) instead of nominating yourself.
